Pakistan Dairy Supply Chain Development Project

VetEffecT has been awarded the Pakistan Dairy Supply Chain Development project by the Worldbank. The project will be implemented in Pakistan in partnership with one of the large dairy processors in the country, aiming to improve the quality and quantity of milk produced by dairy farmers, and supplied for processing.  

The project runs 34 months in 2015-2018, involving preparation of a modern dairy handbook for Pakistan farmers, training of 30-40 extension workers, and training and support for some 200 commercial dairy farmers (CDFs), each having 10-50 cattle
