Support For The General Strategy For Brucellosis And Tuberculosis In Turkey

The project provided guidance and support for brucellosis and tuberculosis control in Turkey in a
collaborative project between the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food and the Turkish
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
Activities included: technical assistance (set up of a base-line survey, sampling and surveillance,
vaccination and diagnostics, maintenance of the programme including data collection and
epidemiological analysis, cost-benefit analyses and cost-effectiveness); project management
(project plan, tasks and responsibilities, quality assurance, reporting, communication); study visits
and training.
The project was financed by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and managed by the Agentschap NL.
